This artwork celebrates female self-care, women's bodies, the awkwardness of nakedness in American culture, and the Korean bathhouse tradition. The painting was made for an exhibition at the Korean Culture Center of Los Angeles commemorating 30 years since the 1992 riots in Los Angeles which exposed tension between Black and Korean communities.
